North County Land Trust (NCLT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Faith Salter as its new Executive Director, effective Monday, October 21. Salter will be the third Executive Director in the organization’s 32-year history of protecting natural lands and expanding access to nature across 16 communities in north central Massachusetts.

North County Land Trust helps landowners and municipalities conserve and manage their land and natural resources. We have facilitated the protection of around 5,000 acres of land and many miles of public trails. As a regional resource in north central Massachusetts, we work for the health and well-being of our citizens, careful management of our natural resources and wildlife, and the sustainability of our planet. We manage land conservation projects of all types, from private conservation easements (a.k.a. conservation restrictions), to Federal Forest Legacy grants. We also can assist connecting municipalities with resources for managing and maintaining their own trails and conservation lands.
