Glens Falls Hospital is looking for unused fabric or yarn!
Do you have new, unused fabric or yarn that you’d like to donate to a good cause? Glens Falls Hospital has a dedicated team of volunteers who generously donate their time and energy to create blankets, quilts, scarves, hats, walker bags, stuffed animals, and more to bring a smile or a bit of warmth to our patients throughout the hospital and C.R. Wood Cancer Center. If you’d like to donate fabric or yarn for Glens Falls Hospital volunteers to use, donations can be dropped off at the information desk at the main entrance of the hospital (in the Tower). North Country Ministry offers a variety of essential services, including: ? Food Pantries: Operating in Warrensburg and Brant Lake, these pantries supply nutritious food to individuals and families facing food insecurity. ? Clothing and Furniture Programs: Providing access to clothing and household items for those in need. ? Casework Services: Offering support and advocacy to help individuals navigate life’s challenges. ? Mobile Mart Program: Delivering food directly to residents in rural areas of the Adirondacks, ensuring access for those who cannot visit the pantries. I am honored to be joining an amazing team that makes such a positive impact in our Adirondack communities .

Our offices and programs will close at Noon on Tuesday, 12/24 and will not reopen until Thursday, 1/2. After spreading cheer to over 270 children through our Giving Tree program, our staff are tired! We are giving them a well deserved break to be with their loved ones. We wish you all the happiest of holidays and a joyous new year.
