The #greatamericansmokeout conference, “Tobacco & Vaping Use in Adolescents & Adults,” was a huge team effort, with St. Peter’s Health Partners, North Country Country Nicotine Consultants, Health Systems for a Tobacco-Free New York and Glens Falls Hospital working together to bring over 70 individuals representing public health agencies, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to Glens Falls. We want to take a moment to acknowledge the Herculean efforts of Heart Network Program Coordinator Morgan Greenwood. It's no exaggeration to say this event wouldn't have been possible without her hard work, attention to detail, and all-around amazing organizational skills. You deserve all the flowers, Morgan!

We're so incredibly grateful to everyone who participated in yesterday's #greatamericansmokeout conference on vaping in youth and adults. We've made so much progress, but there's still work to be done. To our presenters, panelists, moderators, and partners: thank you. We hope everyone left feeling inspired to continue fighting the vaping epidemic.

Earlier this summer,?Healthy Alliance was appointed as the North Country region’s Social Care Network?(SCN) under the state’s 1115 Waiver Amendment.?Healthy Alliance is now accepting applications from organizations interested in partnering in their SCN?either as a contracted Health-Related Social Needs (HRSN) service provider or as part of Healthy Alliance’s broader network of providers. These applications will be reviewed and evaluated by Healthy Alliance using established criteria with a focus on an applicant’s ability and/or willingness to meet the SCN and HRSN Program requirements under the 1115 Waiver Amendment. While Healthy Alliance will build its network over time using a rolling application,?we our partners to apply ahead of the first deadline: Sept. 30. Learn more ? https://lnkd.in/gAHZVPXF
