Due to the impact of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Helene in the southeastern U.S., Governor Cooper has issued Executive Order 315, declaring a State of Emergency for North Carolina. DOT Hours of Service & Weight Waivers sent out to members. The Gouging Law in effect until the order has ended. This order is effective for 30 days starting September 25, 2024 (14 days for essential supplies like fuel, medicines, food, etc.), or until it is rescinded.
