Public Notice: Harbor Island Sealcoating - Phases 5 & 6 Begin Thursday, November 21: Our maintenance project to improve roadway aesthetics by sealcoating and parking stall restriping will continue with phases 5 & 6. During this time, parking will be suspended in specific areas West Drive. Work areas will be blocked off the night before and parking will be prohibited in that work zone for 48 hours to allow the sealcoating to dry and restriping to be completed. Please be mindful of the work and avoid parking in those areas. Phases 5 & 6: Harbor Island Parkway to 7920 West Drive 11/21-23 & 11/25-27 Phases 7 & 8: 8000 West Drive to 7920 West Drive 12/2-4 & 12/5-7 WHAT TO EXPECT: -Buildings should not use sprinklers before and during sealcoating. -Sealcoat does not fill in holes or cracks in the pavement. -Sealcoating is susceptible to scuffing and marks until it has properly cured. -All irrigation systems should be turned off 24 hours prior to the commencement of your project and stay off 48 hours after completion of project. The surface must dry upon our arrival to avoid premature wear of the material. -Please suspend lawn services and/or deliveries during the work period. -All vehicles must be removed from the work area the night before to allow work to begin by 7:15am. Public Notice: TI Sidewalk Pressure Cleaning The Village will be pressure cleaning sidewalks throughout Treasure Island this week. This work will require temporary sidewalk closures. Please use caution in work areas. Vehicles not moved from designated work zones will be towed. SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM Monday, November 18: S Treasure Drive from E Treasure Drive to Cutlass Ave on both sides of the sidewalk. North Bay Village Police Department Hosts Annual Holiday Toy Drive: The North Bay Village Police Department is hosting its annual holiday toy drive to help bring joy to children at Jackson Memorial Hospital and local families in need this season. From now until December 23, community members are encouraged to donate new, unwrapped toys.
