The Norristown Hospitality Center is opening a 25-bed emergency shelter at St John's Church at Diocesan Center in the same location as the Cecil and Grace Bean's Soup Kitchen (520 Church Street, Norristown). Shelter Details: - Location: 520 Church Street, Norristown - Opens: 8:00 PM Each Evening - Closes: 6:30 AM Each Morning Important: Space is limited, so arrive early if you need shelter. A warm meal will be served to those staying at the Code Blue shelter thanks to generous donors who made frozen casseroles through our CODE BLUE CASSEROLE program! Happy World Kindness Day! ? This past week, we were reminded of the incredible kindness that exists in our community. A huge shout-out to Tabor United Methodist Church in Woxall, PA for donating over 30 sleeping bags, and to the Knights of Columbus members from Saint Helena Parish, Blue Bell, PA for dropping off dozens of warm coats. Both sleeping bags and coats are in high demand as the weather turns colder, and these generous donations will make a real difference in the lives of our guests here at the Norristown Hospitality Center.
