    Nano-silver is no longer approved under the BPR, and for good reason. Nano particles are incredibly toxic to both the environment and to humans. At Norigin the technologies we use are determined by our promise to create ethical products. This ensures that the technologies we employ in no way impact the lives of those who manufacture the coatings; the lives of people who apply our coatings; the lives of individuals using the facilities where our coatings have been applied; or the wider environment. This is why our products are free of nano materials. Our commitment to these ethical standards has entailed building a matrix of EPA & EU BPR approved biocides to create combined bio-compatible biocidal compounds to attack pathogens from multiple fronts, limiting the possible development of bacterial and/or fungal resistance. Using the most minute quantities of bio-compatible biocide limits the possible environmental impacts. We are proud to be one of only a few in our industry with this level of commitment to the people we aim to protect and to the environment as a whole.
