We're proud to announce that two of our fabulous Norfolk Public Schools employees were honored at the Virginia Arts Educators Conference in Reston, VA! Dr. Georgeanna Fellio, Senior Coordinator of Visual Arts Education, was awarded Supervisor/Administrator of the Year for her outstanding leadership and dedication to enriching arts education across NPS. Ms. Samantha Wegener, Maury High School Art Teacher, was awarded Secondary Art Educator of the Year for her passion and commitment to nurturing creativity in her students. These prestigious awards reflect their tireless efforts to provide NPS students with exceptional opportunities in visual arts, fostering creativity, self-expression, and foundational skills. Congratulations Dr. Fellio and Mrs. Wegener for this well-deserved recognition! Your dedication continues to inspire the next generation of artists and innovators.
