Dear NorCal Embryologists and NCARB Members, NCARB has a long and distinguished history as the????????????? ???????????????? ???????????????????????? ?????????????????????? ???? ?????? ??????????. Established before the AAB’s College of Reproductive Biology (CRB) in 1997, the ASRM’s Society of Reproductive Biologists and Technologists (SRBT), formed in 2010 through the merger of groups established in 1994, and the UK’s Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE) in 1993 (now part of the Association of Reproductive and Clinical Scientists, ARCS), NCARB represents clinical embryologists across Northern California. We are currently?s?e?e?k?i?n?g? ?a? ???????????????????????????? to join our Board. This is an important position that ensures our association continues to operate smoothly and effectively. Key Responsibilities of the Secretary Position: 1. Documenting and maintaining accurate records of board meetings and decisions. 2. Managing essential correspondence and organizational records. 3. Assisting the board in coordinating member events and communication initiatives. 4. Scheduling and managing virtual meetings (eg., zoom) and assisting with event coordination. 5. Updating and maintaining the NCARB website as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for members who wish to take an active role in the leadership of NCARB and contribute to the representation and support of clinical embryologists across Northern California. Yesterday, as President of Northern California Association of Reproductive Biologists, I had the pleasure of hosting Dr. Gerardo Mendizabal Ruiz, VP of Product Engineering at Conceivable Life Sciences. He shared his insights on the fast-evolving role of robotics for IVF labs. This technology is impressive, and though still in development, it is encouraging to see its potential for improving access to IVF care and standardizing IVF lab practices.
