Join us as we mark Construction Suicide Prevention Week and pledge to prioritize mental health in the workplace. Together, we can build a safer, healthier future for all.

The Nor Cal Carpenters Apprenticeship are proudly joining this vital movement. In solidarity with our fellow workers and apprentices, we are dedicated to raising awareness about the unique challenges faced by those in construction that can lead to suicidal ideation. From the demanding nature of the work to the pressures of the industry, we recognize the multitude of factors that contribute to this issue.

As September rolls around each year, which coincides with National Suicide Prevention Month, our focus intensifies. It's during this time that we amplify our efforts, shining a spotlight on the importance of mental health within our community. Through education, outreach, and the dissemination of resources, we strive to equip our apprentices and colleagues with the tools they need to navigate these challenges and seek help when necessary.

He just got the fantastic news about his upcoming rerate and couldn’t be happier with the new union contract and his new rate to 7th period.
