At Nor-Cal Pipeline Services, one of our core values is Integrity – Do What’s Right, and we are proud to present our very first Core Value Coin for Integrity to Daniel De Leon for embodying this value in a truly extraordinary way. While driving back from a job site, Daniel noticed black smoke after exiting the freeway. Realizing the vegetation on the side of the road was on fire, he didn’t hesitate. Daniel pulled over his vac truck, switched it into work mode, and used the high-pressure water hose to extinguish the flames. By the time the fire department arrived, the fire was already out. They thanked Daniel for his quick thinking and decisive action, which potentially prevented the fire from spreading further. Daniel’s ability to assess the situation, act quickly, and do what was right in the moment is a shining example of integrity in action.
