For the 2025 Social Impact Staff Retention Project (SISR), we’re not looking away. The reality is clear—nonprofits are navigating relentless political and economic headwinds, and staff are feeling it. That’s why good data matters. It’s the difference between hoping things get better and actually making them better. A few findings from this year’s survey: ?? Turnover intentions are slowing. Slightly. But movement in the right direction is movement. ?? Flexibility remains a retention superpower. If nonprofits embrace it. ?? Compensation concerns? Not fixed, but improving. The infographic offers a glimpse of what’s coming in the full report. And in the weeks ahead, we’ll go deeper—sharing insights from #nonprofit leaders who are tackling retention with clear eyes and real solutions. Follow SISR for updates! Onward and upward, Evan Wildstein & Michelle Flores Vryn, CFRE
