Building PlanPerfect is great. Building PlanPerfect with Sophia? That’s been life-changing. This Women's History Month, I am celebrating my wonderful co-founder! Sophia Shaw isn’t just my co-founder—she’s someone who redefined my idea about what leadership and courage look like. From our first meeting at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, she’s been someone I deeply admire. At that time, I had so much respect for her brilliance and how generously she shared her insights. Now, all these years later, we stand side by side, turning an idea we both believe deeply about—PlanPerfect—into something real. What sets Sophia apart is her courage. Starting something new, especially later on in your career, is not easy. And yet, she embraced this path with purpose, grit, and an unshakeable belief that what we’re building can do more than just succeed—it can create real, lasting change for communities and the world. Her leap inspires me and lights up every part our journey together. Sophia also leads with authenticity. She connects with people on such an amazing level—whether that's with our team, our partners, or nonprofits who trust PlanPerfect. She doesn’t just focus on achieving success. She makes sure we remember why we’re doing all this: impact, purpose, and helping organizations dream bigger. Watching her lead reminds me what matters most, especially on harder days. I’ve been incredibly lucky not just with Sophia but with other strong, amazing women around me. My mother, who taught me persistence. My sisters, who’ve been incredible mothers raising their own strong women (and men who deeply respect women) themselves. And friends who never cease to amaze and inspire me every day. Each one has shaped me in such a special way. So here’s my reflection this Women’s History Month: ???????????? ?????????? ???????????? ??????????. They inspire, lead, and make this kind journey meaningful. Sophia, my co-founder, is one such woman—and I owe so much gratitude for all those like her who redefine leadership, impact, and courage.
