Act now to vote NO against #HR9495, a bill that poses a threat to the nonprofit ecosystem. This legislation would grant the Secretary of the Treasury discretionary power to designate section 501(c) nonprofits as “terrorist supporting organizations,” giving unchecked power to the Secretary to terminate the tax-exempt status of nonprofits. Contact your representative today and urge them to oppose H.R. 9495: https://lnkd.in/eiNZxvy2 Read more from Independent Sector at https://lnkd.in/gsMQ4arD.
