?Nonprofit Newsflash!? In their first year, The Agents for Social Change Foundation provided cost-efficient supervision to three mental health practitioners, two fully licensed Social Workers, and two private practices which ultimately led to improved clinical skills, knowledge, personal insights, and capacity at personal and community support levels. Mental health professionals require 2 years of post-master supervision to become fully licensed to practice as a mental health professional independently. For many new graduates, finding quality, affordable supervision that aligns with their needs is a challenge, leading to provisionally?licensed Social Workers and Counselors being forced to work in other fields of counseling and social work while they work on obtaining their experience and supervision hours. This creates a sizable (2-year) gap between service providers wanting to serve as mental health clinicians and the significant number of patients looking for services. Through affordable, quality supervision, Agents for Social Change assist practitioners?in joining the field sooner, leading to more patients' mental health needs?being addressed. Thank you for doing this important work that many in our community may not be aware is a need in the mental health space. "The call to action is clear: We must work together—public and private sectors, community leaders, and residents—to shape a future that balances progress with the values that make Weld County unique." ? Well said! This also rings true for Larimer County and all other growing communities in Northern Colorado—we must work together!

    Weld County Planning Director

Hot off the press from NoCo Foundation Insights from the NoCo Intersections Report as it relates to Weld County Government: Weld County is at a pivotal moment—our rapid growth presents both opportunities and challenges. The Northern Colorado Intersections Report from the NoCo Foundation highlights key areas where regional collaboration can drive long-term well-being, and these findings are highly relevant to our work in Weld County. The report identifies six critical intersections impacting our region: ? Nourishing – Strengthening agriculture, water management, and energy transitions ? Sheltering & Caring – Addressing housing affordability, healthcare access, and childcare needs ? Transacting – Supporting workforce development, rural economies, and infrastructure ? Beautifying – Promoting culture, arts, and community identity ? Connecting – Enhancing education, recreation, and social cohesion ? Renewing – Encouraging civic engagement and regional collaboration For Weld County, this means aligning our planning efforts to ensure strategic growth while preserving our agricultural heritage, supporting our workforce, and improving access to essential services. The NoCo Intersections Report provides valuable data and a framework to guide our policies, especially as we work toward our Comprehensive Plan update and streamline development processes. The call to action is clear: We must work together—public and private sectors, community leaders, and residents—to shape a future that balances progress with the values that make Weld County unique. I encourage community members, business leaders, and policymakers to explore the full report and join the conversation. How can we, as Weld County, best leverage these insights to strengthen our communities? Read the full report here: https://lnkd.in/gQzWcVVU

Haley recently moved back to Northern Colorado and is excited to jump in to making a difference in her community. Participants will gain comprehensive knowledge of philanthropy and strategic giving throughout this program. To give participants firsthand grantmaking experience, a portion of the program fee goes toward collective grantmaking.
