?? My 5th Shamrock Splash this Sunday, March 2nd, at Constitution Beach in East Boston!! ????? Yes, it will be frigid, but the water (??? 38°F) will actually be warmer than the air (?? 27°F)!! After a quick plunge with scores of other Splashers, my wife, Nancy, will thaw me out over a warm lunch in the City. ????? JetBlue, the Splash sponsor, serves us great food and drizzly beverages as we scramble back to sanity. Why do this??? Yes, I know what some of you are thinking, and my wife may agree ??♀???, but I’m actually splashing to raise funds for NOAH's youth-operated summer kayaking experiences. ??♂??? ?? Save The Harbor / Save The Bay's Better Beaches Grant Program underwrites these FREE kayaking experiences! Our youth staff a 7-weekend program in East Boston, allowing nearly 1,500 kayakers to enjoy the beautiful beach and refreshing water during the hottest summer days. ????
