This year, NOAA: National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration and co-trustees secured $40 million from four hazardous waste pollution settlements. ?? Locations across the nation will experience higher than normal tides on and around the full moon on the 15th, which will increase the risk of high tide flooding. Be on the lookout for high tide flooding in: Boston, MA Sandy Hook, NJ Fort Pulaski, GA Toke Point, WA North Spit, CA Hilo Bay, Kuhio Bay, HI Increased coastal flooding and erosion is possible if these higher than normal tides overlap with a storm or strong winds.
