My name is Andrew King, and I want to thank you for any support you’ve made to No Longer Bound this year — and, in turn, to me. Without your generosity, my life would look very different than it looks to today. In fact, I may not be alive at all. That sounds dramatic. I know. But it’s true for me and hundreds of other men. Because my time at No Longer Bound has been unencumbered by financial restrictions and worry, I’ve been able to dig in and focus on myself, my relationships, and, most importantly, finding God through His Son, Jesus Christ. I’m currently interning in No Longer Bound’s Servant Leadership Training program, where I'm learning to become an addiction counselor. Your generosity not only impacts my life but will also influence everyone I may counsel in the future, their families, and the many lives they touch. This chain reaction is how recovery works, because — “We only keep what we have by giving it away.” From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me up and pushing me back into life, this time as a servant of God.

Three years ago, I was completely and utterly alone. No family. No friends. I also had no idea how miraculously my life would be transformed from one decision — the decision to go to No Longer Bound. Addiction is completely isolating. But living surrounded by men who understand the complexities of addiction — its highs, lows, and the daily struggle of staying sober — alleviates that feeling of isolation. Today, my No Longer Bound brothers are my lifeline and my people. Addiction robbed me of everything. But 18 month after graduating the program, I still stay connected to my brothers and I feel like my life has purpose. I am a son, a father, and a brother — and I am also a friend. I'm proud to be in the brotherhood with these amazing men. Thank you for helping save our lives. To help save more men from addiction in 2025, make a gift today at https://lnkd.in/gJAMiMRf!

I was homeless, sleeping in a tent when my dad told me about No Longer Bound. I applied to several different programs, but I didn't have any money. No Longer Bound offered me a place in their scholarship program. I really didn’t want to believe in God when I got here. But the part of me that did, resented Him. I thought He was to blame for all the wrong that had happened in my life, especially my childhood. Now I know that God has always loved me. Deciding to be baptized was very significant to me, because it involved one of the things I fear the most — commitment. To live and love like Jesus and avoid intentional sin is a pretty tall order. I thrived in chaos in my former life, but thanks to God and No Longer Bound, I feel as equipped as I’ll ever be to carry that out. I have six more weeks until Transition. When I think about what's next, I know I want to give back to this community who has given so much to me. I really do love this place. It's like home to me. Thank you to everyone who helped me get here. Blake Y.

Transforming Lives Beyond Sobriety—WITH YOU! Today marks the launch of No Longer Bound's year-end campaign, and we need YOU to help us prepare to welcome more men in 2025! One of our current resident came into the program this year carrying a heavy load of trauma (which is not unusual.) Trauma, anger, and pain have shaped his life. But in the safety and support of the No Longer Bound community, we are seeing a very gentle side of him emerge. He is finding gratitude for the first time in his life. And this Christmas, his little girl will experience something she’s never known before: a healthy, present, loving dad. Because of YOU, this man—and so many others—are finding the time, tools, and hope for real transformation. Every dollar you give provides a full year of: ? Addiction treatment ? Christ-centered spiritual formation ? Brotherhood and accountability ? Family counseling ? Vocational training and job placement Visit https://lnkd.in/gJAMiMRf to give today!

The CDC reports a 14.5% drop in overdose deaths last year, but rates remain above pre-2019 levels, and addiction continues to devastate lives. As World News Group notes, “Ministry leaders fighting for transformation, not just risk-free addiction, say the battle is far from over.” https://lnkd.in/emwMc94R

In 2014, Sawyer came to No Longer Bound as a last ditch effort to save his life. Today, he has restored family relationships, a beautiful wife and daughter, a college degree, and a career in financial planning. Since graduating from No Longer Bound, his commitment to the guys in the program has not wavered. He is a constant presence on our campus, speaking words of encouragement into the men's lives. Hear Sawyer share about running a 100 mile ultra marathon to raise money for men need financial assistance to come to No Longer Bound.
