I'm happy to announce that this summer I will join the National Medical Fellowships, Inc. Primary Care Leadership Program! This program brings me one step closer to becoming a health equity centered physician and researcher.

?? At the 2024 Health Equity Congress, we asked Tracey Newman, Assistant Vice President at National Medical Fellowships, Inc., about the biggest roadblocks facing the industry. Tracey emphasized the need for a holistic approach to industry development, one that considers the entire ecosystem while staying vigilant and proactive in challenging times. Today, I found out that I matched! On Friday, I’ll find out where my first real Doctor job will be. My journey has been a little different, I graduated from medical school in December, but this moment still feels just as surreal. I’m incredibly grateful for the mentors, friends, and family who have supported me along the way. For everyone who matched today—congratulations! This is a huge milestone, and you’ve earned it. For those going through SOAP, know that this isn’t the end—just a different path forward. Many incredible physicians have taken this route and built amazing careers.
