Health Councils: - Coordinate Access to Health Services: Ensuring access and promoting health equity by collaborating with key partners to provide and expand services to meet their community where they are. - Emergency Response: Whether it is coordinating resources for meeting emergency community needs during floods and fires, to national pandemics, they are the local boots on the ground who will instantly rally to support their local area. - Empowering Communities: Being an everpresent, trusted community health hub, they drive community-based solutions and provide a place for community voices to be heard. New Mexico's Health Councils are the lifelines of their communities.
