??AI isn’t a magic wand. It won’t fix a broken process. If your customer journey is 12 steps long, and each step requires five back-and-forth exchanges… AI isn’t the problem. Your process is. Automating inefficiency scales inefficiently. Different channels create different customer expectations, even when handling the same issue: 1?? A customer filling out a form online expects to log a ticket. 2?? A customer calling a contact centre expects a resolution. Same issue, different expectations. Yet companies try to slap AI onto bad processes and wonder why customers get frustrated. This is what I call the Lipstick on a Pig Problem. How to move forward with AI: ?? Use AI to redesign clunky workflows, not just automate them. ?? Rethink customer expectations for each channel instead of copy-pasting processes into chatbots. ???♀? People don’t call customer service for fun, but many companies still design experiences like they do. Nobody wakes up thinking: "?????? ???????? ???????? ?????????? ???????? ???? ??????? ?? ???????? ???????? ???????? ???? ??????????????." Most people call when they’re stuck. When self-service has failed them. When frustration has peaked. That moment is a test. Do you make things easier or worse? A robotic “?????? ?????? ?? ???????????? ???????” doesn’t cut it. A smart: “?????? ????????, ?? ?????? ?????? ???????? ???? ???????????????? ????????????, ?????? ?????? ?????????????? ?????????? ?????????” goes far further in being helpful and providing a great experience. The difference? ?????????? ????????????. The best automation isn’t about replacing people. It’s about respecting their time. That’s how you build trust. That’s how you win.
