This week and every week, we are grateful for the incredible humans we get to work with every day to strengthen our nonprofit sector and communities. Thank you, Amarela Peqini, MBA, Jamiel Maze, MA, Meriel Martínez, Isabella P., Albert Rejouis and Charles D. Imbergamo, CFRE, for being the absolute #DreamTeam! Each of our team members took a moment to reflect on what they're most grateful for this year (gratitude is a significant lever for joy, after all!). Here's what they had to share: https://lnkd.in/e-W5MYiT #Gratitude #Thankful #NonprofitLife #BetterTogether

GRATITUDE. During yesterday's Nonprofit Leadership Conference, keynote speaker Shabnam Mogharabi talked about gratitude as the first essential element in the toolkit to create more joy in our lives and at work. Countless research studies have revealed that showing gratitude can improve almost any aspect of our lives. After spending the day yesterday in the presence of so many exceptional leaders in our nonprofit community, we are filled with an IMMENSE amount of gratitude. Gratitude for all the nonprofit professionals and community leaders who took time out of their busy schedules and lives to prioritize learning and each other at the 2024 Nonprofit Leadership Conference. Gratitude for our co-presenting sponsors Bank of America and Helios Education Foundation for their unwavering commitment to our sector and for the generous support of all our major sponsors who helped make yesterday possible: Florida Blue, M.E. Wilson Company, livingHR, Inc., Warren Averett, University of Tampa, Dr. Luis R. Visot, Community Foundation Tampa Bay, United Way Suncoast, HR Soul, Habitat for Humanity Tampa Bay Gulfside. Gratitude for our exceptional speakers and all the wisdom they shared with us: Stacy Baier, Bemetra Simmons, Ashley Heath Dietz, Leah Donelan McDermott, Shabnam Mogharabi, Brian Butler, DrStem, Keri Higgins-Bigelow, Vernetta L. Walker, Michael Azar and Emily Jones. Gratitude for our emcee Patrick Arthur Jackson who guided us through the day with incredible energy and enthusiasm. And deep gratitude for our remarkable Team NLC colleagues without whom none of our work would be possible: Meriel Martínez, Jamiel Maze, MA, Amarela Peqini, MBA, Isabella P., Albert Rejouis and Charles D. Imbergamo, CFRE. Indeed, we are a sector on fire with possibility, and it all starts with us. We'd love to hear your favorite moment or takeaway from the conference in the comments below. ?? #ItStartsWithUs
