The New Jersey State Women’s Chamber of Commerce (NJSWC) is dedicated to uniting and empowering women business owners across the state. NJSWC was founded on the robust legacy of NJAWBO, the New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners, which has advocated for women in business since 1978. By merging NJAWBO’s strengths with those of the NJ State Women’s Chamber, we have created a more powerful and unified voice for women in business in New Jersey. Membership in the NJSWC is open to women-owned businesses and other businesses with a special interest in developing relationships with women-owned businesses. NJSWC is New Jersey’s statewide organization for women-owned businesses. NJSWC provides New Jersey’s women business owners growth opportunities through networking, education, and active support from members. Membership in NJSWC brings value through developing Relationships that lead to Referrals which result in Revenue. Networking: Join NJSWC to extend your business network and create lasting connections. Meet hundreds of other women business owners through virtual and in-person events. Education: NJSWC provides members with learning opportunities, including sessions with NJSWC members who are subject matter experts in their fields. NJSWC brings in non-member experts for learning that is beneficial to women entrepreneurs. NJSWC maintains strong partner relationships with the Small Business Development Corporation (SBDC), the Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship (WCEC) and the Service Core of Retired Executives (SCORE), each of which provides a broad catalog of business education opportunities across the state of New Jersey. Support: Join NJSWC for the personal and professional support gained from relationships developed with other women business owners who have faced and overcome growth challenges. We welcome membership from women-owned businesses and those who wish to do business with and support women-owned businesses.

  • NJSWC is pleased to partner with Rutgers SBDC for the Women Entrepreneurs' Network (WEN) breakfast series. This program, begun in 2005, is designed to give entrepreneurs a sacred place and space to hear powerful stories of how other women have succeeded in their business and careers. The agenda includes an informative presentation as well as networking among participants.
