Advancing the goals, needs and interests of New Jersey's Muslim American Lawyers.
关于我们
The New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Association (NJMLA) is a volunteer association of lawyers, judges and law students who work or reside in the New Jersey area. NJMLA was established in 2006 to advance the goals, needs and interests of Muslim attorneys in New Jersey through networking, mentorship and education. NJMLA also hopes to promote Muslim participation in public service and to address issues affecting our local and national community. In addition, NJMLA collaborates with other bar associations and organizations to serve both our members and the greater community. NJMLA is proud of the diversity in our organization and will continue to advocate for diversity and excellence in the bench and bar.

Thank you to everyone who attended the New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Association's annual Iftar dinner last week. Special thanks to Attorney General Platkin for attending and breaking fast with us. It was an honor to gather our legal community, which included law students, attorneys, judges, and other dignitaries, to share in the spirit of Ramadan. Your support and presence made the evening truly meaningful, and we look forward to continuing this tradition for years to come. #ramadanmubarak #iftar #njmla

We are grateful to all of those who made the New Jersey Muslim Lawyers Association’s second annual #MuslimHeritageMonth event such a success! Judge #NadiaKahf, the first hijab-wearing judge to serve the New Jersey Courts, told us the trailblazing story that was her journey to the bench. The conversation was moderated by NJMLA Vice President Amani Taha. We were honored to have remarks from New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin, a proclamation from the Office of the Governor, a Quran recitation by NJMLA President Saad Admani and a special welcome from our co-sponsor, the New Jersey State Bar Association, along with a spoken word performance by NJMLA member Tooba Hussain.
