NJ TRANSIT CEO Kevin Corbett joined Conrail President & Chief Operating Officer Brian Gorton to unveil NJ TRANSIT’s latest heritage locomotive: GP40PH-2B No. 4208, freshly painted in Conrail livery! This striking locomotive honors our rich history with Conrail, which operated passenger trains throughout New Jersey from 1976 to 1983 and was the immediate corporate predecessor to NJ TRANSIT Rail Operations. Be on the lookout for this locomotive leading NJ TRANSIT trains in the coming months!
