At Huxted Trenchless, a JAG Company we always prioritize #safety; it's in our DNA. Our Safety Manager Laycie John, along with Mike Halley our Superintendent recently conducted tunnel rescue training at a job site in Fort Collins, CO. We emphasized the importance of proper equipment placement, regular inspections, and a well-planned sequence of events for successful rescues. Our team also practiced mock tunnel rescues ensuring everyone was prepared for real-world challenges. Joining our team was Mario from WW Clyde and Heather, a manager for The City of Fort Collins - Working Together to Build a Better Today! Heather was so impressed by the hands-on approach and thoroughness of our program she volunteered to assist in one of the tunnel rescue scenarios! This example of #TeamAccomplishment reflects our commitment to keeping our workers #safe and underscores the importance of sharing best practices across the industry. www.huxtedtrenchless.com #GearUp #SpeakUp #BeSafe #Reputation #WorkEthic #TrenchlessSpecialists

We recently released the Request for Qualifications for the New Jersey Surface Alignment (NJSA) Project. ? This project involves building approximately 1.5 miles of above ground trackway that will enable the existing NEC tracks in New Jersey to connect to the entrance to the new Hudson Tunnel. ? Starting the procurement process for this project is an exciting milestone that reflects how far we’ve come in just one year of construction and keeps us moving full steam ahead. ? This week, we released our proposed $9.4 billion budget for 2025, including $3.6 billion for capital projects as we continue progress on our once-in-a-generation transformation agenda. The 2025 budget will drive key advancements, from rebuilding our major airports and replacing the Midtown Bus Terminal to fully rehabilitating the George Washington Bridge, modernizing seaports, and overhauling PATH’s tracks, stations and signals. Unlike similar agencies that operate and maintain critical infrastructure, the Port Authority does not receive any tax revenue from the states of New York or New Jersey. The Port Authority is a self-funded agency. To address $3 billion in pandemic-related losses and inflationary pressures, while continuing the largest Port Authority capital investment in history, we’re also proposing a $0.25 toll increase for all vehicles in January 2025. We encourage anyone who has not signed up for E-Z Pass, to do so, and save $4.25 per trip. The public is encouraged to participate in the review and comment period, which runs through Dec. 11 https://ow.ly/auK650U85jl
