The Richard Nixon Foundation is a privately supported, non-profit institution dedicated to educating the public about the life, legacy, and times of the Thirty-Seventh President. Through unique exhibits and events the Nixon Foundation helps visitors discover the many surprising and unexpected accomplishments of the 37th president and the impact they have on our world today. The Foundation supports exhibits and programs on the nine acre Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. As a performing arts center for public affairs, the Foundation’s year-round programming features national policy conferences, study groups, town meetings, school editor forums, and a continual schedule of distinguished speakers and authors from government, politics, the media, and public affairs. The Presidential Library is home to more than 42 million pages of documentation and material from Richard Nixon’s life in politics, as well as a nationally recognized research center, giving students and scholars the opportunity to study RN’s legacy and historic presidency.

Last week, UCI Health was a major sponsor of the 2025 Nixon National Cancer Conference (NNCC) held at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda. This conference is an annual convening of global leaders in #cancerresearch, innovation, education and care, to deliver honest assessments of current benchmarks, catalyze future goals, and be a source of inspiration to patients, doctors, and those who support them, advancing the promise rooted in the National Cancer Act of 1971. UCI Health and UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center leaders presented the latest innovations and approaches to battling #cancer, discussed artificial intelligence’s role in cancer care, and shared strategies to facilitate better communication between patients and clinicians. UC Irvine School of Medicine Dean Dr. Michael J. Stamos gave the lunch keynote remarks, featuring the expansion of UCI Health cancer services in Irvine, Yorba Linda, and Laguna Hills. UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center Director Dr. Richard Van Etten contributed his expertise to a panel discussion on the complexity of #cancercare today. On January 15 and 16, 2025, the fourth annual Nixon National Cancer Conference convened at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. The Nixon National Cancer Conference is an annual gathering of global leaders in cancer research, innovation, education and care, to deliver honest assessments of current benchmarks, catalyze future goals, and be a source of inspiration to patients,doctors and those who support them, advancing the promise rooted in the National Cancer Act of 1971. The 2025 NNCC featured eighteen speakers across four panels and keynote remarks from then-NIH Director Monica Bertagnolli —in her final public appearance as Director— to tackle improving doctor/patient relationships, the future impact of advances in artificial intelligence, and how new forms of media can help educate and motivate cancer patients.
