Bladder accumulators are an excellent means of storing energy under pressure, absorbing hydraulic shocks, and dampening pump pulsation and fluctuating flows. Parker Hannifin BA series hydro-pneumatic bladder accumulator products are made to the highest quality standard! Unfortunately, they are a highly neglected because most consumers are unaware of the little maintenance it does require. The importance of these accumulator systems is usually of extreme importance and can leave an entire production line inoperable! Responding to an emergency down call, our team made quick work of this Parker Hannifin bladder accumulator by quickly identifying the part responsible for failure. With all the necessary tools at hand, they were able to depressurize the 3000 PSI system safely and rebuild the bladder, stem, and port assembly. After the internals had been removed and repaired, they reinstalled the customers 15 gallons, 5000 PSI rated accumulator. Quickly using a high-pressure nitrogen bottle to achieve appropriate system pressure and get the bladder system back online!! Unfortunately, down calls are INEVITABLE! As components wear with use and age, signs of fault/failure start to show. Below is a call we received where customers Kaeser ASD 30 has hard faulted on an oil/air fan overcurrent protection alarm! Arriving to site SAME DAY, our team evaluates the logged faults and evaluates the unit symptoms. After monitoring system components and monitoring the electrical output of the fan motor it was quickly determined that the fan overload was becoming faulty! With the help of our parts department, we received and installed new component the very next day! System consists of two Kaeser ASD 30 direct drive oil flooded rotary screw air compressor paired with nano-purification solutions NDX 0250 refrigerated dryer. Capable of 132cfm EACH, these 30hp units produce an adequate amount of volume to process while utilizing the dryer for clean, quality air!
