Yesterday we hosted our first TCAM (Teachers, Counselors, Administrators, and Manufacturers) Camp in Erie County at Northland Workforce Training Center. There were 16 individuals in attendance from various school districts and community partners.?The group gained a better understanding of the regional impact of manufacturing. They had the opportunity to hear from two dynamic speakers – Lisa Mika, HR Manager, at Nissha Medical Technologies and Kathryn Nowicki, Director - Knowledge Management, at Moog Inc. regarding STEM career opportunities. They toured Northland Workforce Training Center to better understand the educational opportunities available and built rocket stoves! It was a great day of professional development for all.
