Niobium Chief Product Officer Jorge Myszne recently sat down with Ian Krietzberg of The Deep View to discuss how FHE can shore up data privacy for generative AI, the “most vulnerable technology ever to be deployed in production systems.” Ian lays bare the prevalence of AI data breaches. Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) could enable mathematically guaranteed “private AI”, but it’s going to take dedicated silicon solutions like the Niobium FHE hardware accelerator to get us there. When it comes to the most sensitive data, no implementation-based security is ever good enough. Niobium Chief Technology Officer David Archer recently shone light on another path in Embedded Computing Design: Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE). Right now, data can be encrypted at rest or in transit, but it is always vulnerable during processing. FHE allows data encryption during computation, even for sophisticated applications such as machine learning, healthcare data analysis, or financial fraud detection. Today’s institutions have vast stores of data that they cannot fully leverage because it is too sensitive to share. FHE will change that, unlocking new applications across industries. #technology #innovation #machinelearning #DataSecurity #Cybersecurity #DataProtection #ZeroTrust
