One full year of All Hands meetings is officially in the books!?? We had the opportunity to host our fourth and final All Hands meeting for 2024 at Vivere Apartments in the La Vista City Centre. Our theme for this meeting was "Shifting From Action to Reflection", where we heard from each presenter about the importance of self-reflection, the impact each of us has on our business, and how we can succeed together as a team in 2025. Following the presentation, our team headed to Vivere's gym for some intense Minute to Win It games! Thank you to Rosa Wasson, NALP, CAM, CAPS, Paul Harlow, Elle Kroeker, Ashley Meyer, Diane Mendenhall, Laura Pickett, and everyone else that contributed to making our Q4 All Hands a success. Yesterday we heard an interesting and engaging Leadership Lab on communication and organization techniques using AI from our Marketing Manager, Elle Kroeker. We learned about Outlook shortcuts, effective ways to use ChatGPT, and the future of AI and its integration into business processes. What an incredible day we had last weekend hosting our first-ever Oktoberfest in partnership with the City of La Vista! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at the La Vista City Centre for a fun-filled day of delicious food and drinks, live music, exciting contests, and a thrilling Husker victory on the big screen! We had a busy month preparing for two brand new community events that took place last week in Lincoln and La Vista!???? ? Our first event was the Pup Cup Social in the La Vista City Centre. One of our vendors, DogGurt, handed out free pup cups to all of our pup-ticipants while Heights Draft Room poured brews for our two-legged friends. We had nine other community booths in attendance, handing out swag and sharing more information about their business. ? Our second event was the first-ever cornhole tournament in the Leighton District. This tournament brought in 18 teams from across the city to compete for some epic prizes from Rocket Carwash, Leighton’s Pub, and our team at Nine Zero. ? School is kicking off, which means summer is quickly coming to a close and Ashlyn McIntyre is wrapping up her internship with us on the Marketing & Communications team. ? Recently, Ashlyn presented a comprehensive summary of her experience at Nine Zero to fellow interns, their managers, and other teammates from various City+Ventures entities. Her presentation highlighted numerous accomplishments and memorable moments, including: ? ?Coordinating the commercial tenant photoshoot for 19 tenants at the Leighton District & La Vista City Centre ?Creating new content like graphics and reels for our residential and commercial properties ?Gaining new skills in the Meta Business Suite ?Providing event support for our summer fitness series, pup cup social, cornhole tournament, and other residential events ? Ashlyn has been an invaluable member of our team, and we're thrilled to announce that her journey with us isn't ending here. As she begins her junior year at UNO, Ashlyn will be staying on part-time as our Marketing & Communications Coordinator!?? ? Her creativity, dedication, and fresh perspective have already made a significant impact, and we look forward to her continued contributions to our team. Is Excel one of those tools you want to learn more about but don't know where to start? We were feeling the same way, so we asked our excel guru Jessi Link to lead a Leadership Lab session on the top 5 time saving tricks for Excel. ? Here's what we learned: 1. Quick fill and copy functions save a ton of time by using short keyboard combinations to complete simple but highly used operations like copying and pasting a dataset. 2. Named ranges are a great way to clean up formulas and make the selection process quicker. 3. Tracing dependents and precedents can help you easily understand complex formulas and how they were created within a spreadsheet. 4. Date formulas can be really helpful in understanding how many working days are within a certain timeframe, creating unique date patterns across multiple years, and avoiding errors in using a dragging function for dates vs. a formula. 5. Xlookups are Vlookups revamped and are much more dynamic to use, allowing you to tweak and reuse the same formula across multiple datasets. ? Thank you for all your tips, Jessi.
