Thrilled to announce Scott McGowan is joining the Nine13sports team as our new Partnerships and Development Director. Scott has a passionate drive to serve youth and I'm excited to see his previous experiences positively impact the growth of our work and organization. Scott is the founder and CEO of AfterSport Group, a career transition program for student athletes, which he co-founded in 2004. Since its inception, AfterSport Group has collaborated with numerous universities and student athletes across the country. The program has also been involved in NCAA seminars and worked with conferences such as the Atlantic Coast Conference, Big 10, Horizon League, Mid-American Conference, and Summit League. ? Before starting AfterSport Group, Scott served as the National Manager of Business Development for American Express, overseeing growth in Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. Prior to that, he was a National Sales Manager for Federal Express, responsible for building the company's business in Indiana. Before embarking on his corporate career, Scott was a free agent for the NFL's Cincinnati Bengals. ? Scott graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Criminal Justice.

Nine13sports? is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes health, wellness, and exercise for local youth with our Kids Riding Bikes?, Kids Building Bikes?, Kids Riding Bikes-STEM, and Explore Indy programs. We have created a unique initiative in which we have integrated the traditional bicycle with technology to provide a turnkey product for youth programs, schools, and other community organizations. In addition to a core focus of health and fitness, our programs promote community, teamwork, and mutual respect for one another designed to foster a lasting impact.
