?? Celebrating 5 Years of Transformative Justice and Collective Learning! ?? We are thrilled to announce the release of Project 2025: Another Way is Possible, a powerful brief documenting our learnings from the past five years of working toward justice, humanity, and belonging. ? From our beginnings on the boardwalk trail at Lake Wingra, inspired by the revolutionary spirit of Nina Simone and the transformative fire of the Yoruba word “Ina,” we’ve grown from four founding members to an 18-member cooperative of Black women, Queer women, Immigrant women, and White women united by our shared commitment to co-liberation and systemic change. ?? We’ve partnered with nearly 100 organizations across the U.S. and globally, supporting over 230 people through transformative journeys toward equity and inclusion. ?? “We are a learning cooperative that engages in partnerships with individuals, teams, and organizations in their transformative journey toward becoming a more just and equitable workplace.” - Dr. Ananda de Oliveira Mirilli ?? Y'all, we got quoted in In Business Madison! So honored to have our voice included in this critical and historical moment! It’s all about making an impact and pushing the work forward for real change, co-liberation, and justice. Check it out and let me know what you think! #InBusinessMadison #Equity #TransformativeChange #CoLiberation #Justice "Diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces drive innovation, employee retention, and profitability, agreed ananda de oliveira mirilli, co-director of the nINA Collective, a Madison consulting group. If organizations retreat from DEI, they risk eroding hard-won progress and jeopardizing their own success. “Public and private organizations that want to continue attracting and retaining top talent — and remain relevant — cannot afford to step backward. Consumers and employees are watching — businesses that fail to uphold their stated values risk losing trust and long-term market relevance,” mirilli said in an email. “In a rapidly evolving world, companies that deprioritize equity and belonging will struggle to compete — not just in profits but in building the workforce of the future.” Their colleagues at the nINA Collective — co-directors Jacquelyn Boggess, Alia Stevenson, Jordan Bingham, and Colleen Butler — spelled out what happens when DEI policies get rolled back: “The consequences are immediate and measurable: decreased engagement, higher turnover, loss of top talent, and weakened public trust. When employees — especially those from historically and institutionally excluded groups — see that belonging, accessibility, and human dignity are no longer priorities, they leave." Dr ananda de oliveira mirilli attending and presenting at the Social Change Forum, a needed space during this time!
In awe of the presentation of Ronda (Stingley) Davis @Social Change Forum with Gregg Potter. Key highlights for me: Let's be our medicine to each other and our community and do not comply in advance which reminded me of nINA Collective blog.
