AX / AX R Confocal Microscopes

The AX / AX R are Nikon's flagship point-scanning confocal microscopy systems. Featuring a large 25 mm field of view and up to 8K pixel resolution, the AX / AX R are top choices for applications demanding both high throughput and high resolution. The AX / AX R also set a new standard for usability. Deep learning-based AI tools make it possible for inexperienced users to optimize their imaging parameters at the push of a button. Fast AI-based image denoising is included. The AX R additionally features our high-definition low-noise resonant scanning system, accelerating imaging rate while reducing illumination dose – perfect for sensitive live cell imaging experiments. Image at up to 720 frames per second (2048 x 16-pixel band scan) with scanning quality similar to galvo-based systems. Flexible hyperspectral imaging options are available, with up to 66 emission channels and your choice of GaAsP and/or multi-alkali PMT detectors for ensuring the best possible sensitivity.
