  • Vigilance is a word our Founder talks about all the time, and we find it pairs well with our day-to-day business of re-framing change. If we accept change as life and ever-evolving, staying vigilant about what we are trying to create, build, and progress becomes part of the rhythm. Vigilance also allows us to stay aware of what is happening, not assuming that what was will always be, and to be more present with ourselves and others. While "reflect and renew" is often associated with the turning of the calendar year, for us, engage, reflect, and renew is part of our daily ethos.     We are grateful to have closed the year together in our internal leadership forum, Sproutroom, where we continued to explore our ethos on the topic of ‘We do nothing alone.’ As you can imagine, this topic inspired many perspectives, anecdotes, and reflections from our team as we looked back on 2024. Here are a few themes from our discussion: Collaboration Unlocks Possibilities: ‘We do nothing alone’ highlights how much more is possible when we think beyond individual contributions. It’s not just about ‘what I can do’ but about what we can generate together through collaboration and shared effort, creating more opportunities and idea generation. Second Eyes/Buddy Systems as Frameworks for Connection: The ‘second eyes’ or buddy system approach that we often use internally reinforces the idea that no one works in isolation. It provides both a buddy on a project and a mechanism for ongoing improvement, creating space for improved outcomes, ongoing quality, and next-generation ways of working. Redefining Recognition and Value: Moving beyond the individual recognition we have been socially ingrained to value, toward acknowledging the collective contributions behind success. Being aware that ‘we couldn’t have got there without everyone’ or recognizing ‘how we create a safe forum to reflect and learn’ shows how shared contributions are essential to achieving meaningful results.   • Energized after our GTM & Operations functional restructure workshop last week! A sense of renewal, excitement, and possibilities were just some of the experiences the team shared after facilitating an in-person workshop on recent changes as we think about our clients and how we can be of service and value to what matters to them every day. We took a meaningful pause to reflect on how we continue to build leadership and organizational capability—not just as an approach, but as a measurable outcome through day-to-day engagement with our clients. Some of the functional areas that evolved into new functional pillars include: 1) Go-to-Market (GTM) shifting to Client Value-Led Go-to-Market: This realignment ensures initiatives and programs are more closely connected and fully integrated within the function. 2) Consulting evolving into Consulting & Capability: This reaffirms how we continue to think about consulting in an ever-evolving marketplace, with excitement for how this new focus will enhance our training and delivery processes. 3) Operations curated to Team + Enablement function: This reflects the embedding of operational capability across the organization, consistent with market trends. We are shifting our emphasis to Team & Enablement as an evolution of this function where focus is needed. Over yummy food, printouts, and digital screens, we were reminded that change is about how we are with one another—we are first human beings and then the roles we serve day to day. It's about having timely and open conversations, clarifying details, and supporting with guidance to reframe the experience of change and see the possibilities. At the same time, we acknowledge that this process is ever-evolving and requires vigilant care and attention as we move forward. Thank you to the full team for their daily engagement in the organizational and personal learning journeys that make all this happen. As we say good for now, we look forward to what’s next.
