We commend his commitment to making New Jersey’s roads safer to prevent tragedies like ours. With the signing of the NJ Target Zero Bill—bringing 13 state agencies together to eliminate traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2040—and plans to overhaul the ten most dangerous intersections, we are moving towards a future where no family has to grieve the loss of a child due to a preventable crash. Over a decade ago, I lost my son, Nikhil, to a tragic car crash that could have been prevented. Since then, I've dedicated myself to fighting for safer streets so that no more families have to suffer the unimaginable pain of losing a loved one. In light of the recent tragic deaths of the Gaudreau brothers, I’ve shared our urgent call for systemic change with NJ Spotlight News, Courier-Post, and The Philadelphia Inquirer.
