He made history as the first and only person in the U.S. to serve as both a State CISO and Director of Homeland Security, demonstrating his deep expertise in protecting critical infrastructure and defending against evolving cyber threats. During his tenure in Arizona, Tim worked with Governor Ducey to establish the nation’s first State Cyber Command Center, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at strengthening cyber resilience and making cybersecurity a top homeland security priority.
