On Tuesday evening, Nicole Miller looks from past and present went down the runway with some very special models. The brand was the first-ever fashion sponsor for the Verma Foundation's CAPWALK NYC, a charity event in support of cancer patients who lost their hair during treatment. Cancer thrivers and survivors walked down the runway wearing custom cap wigs made with human hair and were styled with bold looks from Nicole Miller’s archive and current assortment. “As a designer, I know how transformative fashion can be. Feeling confident in the clothing you wear can make a big difference in how you present yourself to the world. And hearing the amazing stories from these brave patients today just echos the power of fashion,” the eponymous founder shared. The patient models were escorted down the catwalk with a variety of celebrities including Jet’s Defensemen Solomon Thomas, Fox 5 News Anchor Rosanna Scotto, Fox 5 Meteorologist and Prostate Cancer Survivor Mike Woods, Z100 Radio Personality Medha Gandhi, and more. Seated in the front row were Hosts of the Z100 Morning Show Elvis Duran and Danielle Monaro and 3x Superbowl Champion Patriots' Devin McCourty. The proceeds from the event all go to the Verma Foundation, supporting its efforts to provide high-quality cap wigs to women and girls experiencing hair loss during chemotherapy. The Verma Foundation was founded in 2017 by Fox5NY anchor and cancer survivor, Natasha Verma, after her own battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma showed her just how debilitating hair loss can be for women fighting cancer. Natasha’s cancer battle pushed her to start the foundation in order to provide life-changing wigs for women also going through cancer treatment. The Verma Foundation has provided thousands of cap wigs to cancer patients across the United States and has partnered with more than 200 hospitals to provide that invaluable support. Both the caps and the wigs can be customized to the patient, making it an incredibly personal and powerful tool to help restore confidence and dignity to the patients during this very difficult time. This is the very first time the CAPWALK show has had an exclusive fashion sponsor, so that makes this relationship with Nicole Miller particularly special. Carolyn D'Angelo, Senior Managing Director at Gordon Brothers who oversees Nicole Miller, shared what this event meant to the brand.?“Tonight, we are not just celebrating fashion—we are celebrating strength, resilience, and the power of community.”

Nicole Miller, and global asset experts, Gordon Brothers proudly announce the relaunch --of Nicole Miller Men’s. Started in 1986, Nicole Miller Men’s became a global success in part due to a little accessory, the novelty necktie. Miller used excess dress fabric to make three dozen printed ties, which sold out in a week. She began to add more prints and produced these as limited editions. Shortly after that rapid success, she expanded into Men’s casual wear, formal wear, fragrance, and accessories. Now, 38 years later, Nicole Miller Men’s relaunches this Spring with new licensee Versa Group, offering Men’s dress shirts and sports shirts. Staying true to Nicole Miller’s well-known designs, with a focus on expansion to new audiences, the menswear assortment will be infused with multiple technical elements. The collection includes specialized performance features, including stretch and moisture-wicking properties, and is currently available at select retailers. “We look forward to our partnership with Nicole Miller” said Marc Seruya, Chief Executive Officer, Versa Group. “By utilizing our technology, we are able to introduce the brand to new audiences while bringing quality products to our loyal customers.” Versa Group will be expanding their product line into dress pants for Fall 2024. In addition, LNK Neckwear, a new licensee who is producing neckties, bowties and pocket squares leveraging prints from the Men’s apparel line, will also debut in Fall. LNK is a family-owned business currently thriving in their fourth generation with nearly a century dedicated to Men’s neckwear. “I have been a big fan of Nicole for many years,” shared Steven Klaus, President of LNK. “We are excited to sign on and collaborate with Nicole Miller, an iconic brand known for its timeless aesthetic and unique detailing.” Carolyn D'Angelo, Senior Managing Director at Gordon Brothers who oversees Nicole Miller, stated “The expansion into Men’s allows us to strategically partner with new licensees to bring more categories to the brand while maintaining the craftsmanship and design quality Nicole Miller is known for.” Fashion designer Nicole Miller is excited for the return of Men’s and sees it as a big growth opportunity, “I vividly remember walking down the street and seeing everyone wearing my shirts and ties back in the 80s and 90s and I look forward to replicating this success; not only with my previous customers, but with new ones as well.”
