What’s it like to turn your greatest passion into a full time career? Where do I begin… I visited a John Marshall high school the other day and had the opportunity to share a bit about myself, my journey, and say a wise thing or two. I talked honestly about my youth and what it was like to grow up in an imperfect home. I talked about my decision to not attend college yet still finding a way to achieve success doing something I’m passionate about. I talked about assumptions, choices, and accountability that life will challenge us with—how to separate the good from the bad, the right from the wrong, trusting in ourselves and what we believe in. Once all was said and done, I did what I do best: got behind the camera and took some portraits??
