Chuck and Susie Nichols established the pistachio processing facility in 1990, building not just a business but a close-knit community. Susie played many roles throughout the years, including serving as the company’s first safety manager. However, her most cherished role was being the “Team Mom,” ensuring that everyone was well-fed during harvest and fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Her kindness and dedication left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Sadly, Susie passed away on January 7, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and generosity. ? In honor of Susie’s memory, Jeff Nichols and his family have launched a fundraising campaign for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to support vital cancer research and patient care. Their efforts aim to advance treatments and provide assistance to those facing similar battles. This cause is close to the hearts of many, and contributions will help continue the fight against cancer in her name.
