In our spring junior survey, respondents’ biggest fear about the college search was being able to afford the college they wanted. So, what can institutions do to improve affordability and boost enrollment? ?? ?? Keep it clear when it comes to cost: Be transparent and clear about costs from the outset, providing detailed financial information early on in the process. ?? Give financial aid a fresh look: Reassess your financial aid offerings and dedicate resources to clarifying and explaining how and when to complete FAFSA forms. ??? Communicate value clearly and proudly: Give students and their families a clear idea of what it means to join your community and help students see themselves as part of it. ??
