We were fortunate to have Matt Masiello share his expertise on mergers and acquisitions at our September NHIMA meeting. His advice on running your agency as if it were for sale resonated with many of us. By prioritizing financial health, employee satisfaction, carrier relationships, and customer happiness, you can position your agency for success, regardless of your future plans. My takeaway. It's like keeping your house clean incase the In-laws drop by.

NHIMA was thrilled to host Commissioner D.J. Bettencourt during our April lunch meeting. He is a captivating speaker and has a sensible, collaborative approach to regulation. Commissioner Bettencourt’s initiatives to improve insurance literacy and promote Independent Agents really resonated with me. Thank you for your time, Commissioner! If you are interested in joining a group of industry marketing professionals who share educational and networking opportunities while promoting the interests of the Independent Agents of NH, we’d love to welcome you! Our next meeting will be on May 17th with Chris-Michael Carangelo, 30yr Sales & Marketing Professional and Author of his recently published book, “Life of a Salesperson”.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Lindsay Nadeau and George Roussos from the Orr & Reno law firm for joining our February meeting. Lindsay & George advocate and provide counsel on behalf of the Insurance industry here in New Hampshire on Legislative and Regulatory matters. Their efforts to educate our lawmakers on bills which impact insurance companies and consumers is critical. We are fortunate to have Lindsay & George as well as NHAIA President Joan Pageau and State Representative Will Infantine championing for our industry.
