Veterans quickly learn that life out of the service can be full of peril – as they face post traumatic stress, housing insecurity, substance misuse and more. Liberty House NH, a program of Catholic Charities NH, offers transitional housing and support to help those who’ve served so honorably rediscover their purpose and rebuild their lives. go.wearethere.us/3x5BQxz #WeAreThere

?? Thank you to the Nashua Citizen's Advisory Committee for their $2,500 grant to benefit homebound seniors, served by the programs of CareGivers. This generous grant means that more seniors in Greater Nashua will receive monthly grocery deliveries (Caring Cupboard), rides to vital appointments (Caring Rides) and emotional support calls, that help them remain independent and healthy, and know they are not alone. ? #ServingSeniors #gratitude #SeniorIndependence

Scenes from our recent Catholic Charities NH Annual Gathering: Ripples of Change, a chance for our staff and supporters to come together and reflect on the work we've done together to serve our NH neighbors this past year. The event featured introductory remarks from Bishop Peter Libasci, followed by CCNH President & CEO Tom Blonski's annual address, recapping the transformative past year and looking at the challenges and opportunities ahead. It was also an evening for special awards and recognitions, including: In His Footsteps Award to Marc Cousineau, director of our Community Services program for his 40+ years of compassionate service and leadership; Guardian Angel Award to Jay Buckley for his community service, support and many years volunteering with the NH Food Bank and at CCNH events; Above and Beyond Award to Russ Ouellette, outgoing Vice-Chair of our board for his seven years of service. E.J. Powers and Tina Legere, also outgoing board members, were also recognized. Thank you to all who were able to join us for this wonderful evening, and all who support our mission to provide those in need with programs that comfort, heal and empower. ??? #movinglivesforward #service #gratitude #ServingNH
