?? Registration OPEN ?? The?Ascend to Victory Skimo Classic?follows a 5.3-mile course through the best terrain #BoltonValley has to offer, gaining a total of 2200 vertical feet. The course starts and ends at the #TimberlineLodge , but it covers nearly all of the resort over the course of the #race! Bring your uphill legs, downhill chops, and even get ready for a bootpack thrown in for fun! Race in one of the 4 categories that best suits you: #pro, #amateur, #military, or … wait for it … #SPLITBOARDER! We love our uphill riders and challenge them to #register to see who can put their board together and charge downhill the fastest, in some of the best Vermont #skiing! Racers should be comfortable skiing groomed #blackdiamond terrain. All ski equipment must be equipped with either brakes or leashes. The race is capped at 60 people, so register early to get your spot! Registered racers will also receive a 10% discount at #BoltonValleyResort lodging and lift tickets for any family members that want to ski before, during, or after the race. The stopgap federal budget enacted Sept. 26 runs through Dec. 20 but leaves some military modernization programs on hold. Army officials said last week that the CR will halt eight procurement programs, 37 research initiatives, 19 military construction projects and 41 planned production rate increases.
