This week the NFF Horticulture Council launched 'Feast or Famine', its platform for the coming #FederalElection2025. Feast or Famine issues an urgent call to action for the next Federal Government, and a set of practical recommendations, for throwing off our laisse fair approach to food security and the provision of green space, and instead engaging in careful, strategic stewardship. Our lead recommendation, to develop a National Food Plan, has already been committed to by the current government, with the Opposition expected to follow suit. Through the campaign we'll be profiling each of six major themes in Feast or Famine, and seeking commitments from political parties on adopting our recommendations.
