Last Thursday, REEFBUDS was announced the winner of Nexus Louisiana's PitchBR competition! ?? REEFBUDS is striving to revive marine ecosystems that have been damaged by unregulated human activity by creating proprietary, carbon-negative reef structures to protect shorelines, slow and reverse effects of coral bleaching, and collect underwater data. The competition featured many innovative ideas, including pitches from other energy-based startups, such as EncoreCO2 and Golden Family Tree.
