Whether he's optimizing systems behind the scenes or leading monthly game nights at the office, Sam brings expertise and enthusiasm to everything he does. ?? Tell us about your role at Nextpoint. What does a typical day look like for you? "I'm a software engineer, so I work on the systems that make Nextpoint run! On a typical day, I write and review code for my team, help define product requirements, and research technical solutions to improve the Nextpoint user experience." ?? What skills or qualities do you think are most important for success in legal tech? "Technology is constantly evolving, and I think it's important to keep growing along with it. For me, that means being curious and deeply learning how things work so I'm more equipped to solve problems (both present and future). But at the end of the day, nobody knows everything, so it's okay to ask for help if you're stuck on something!" ?? What do you enjoy doing outside of work to recharge? "When it's nice outside, I like to get out with my camera - Chicago is a beautiful city to photograph! But it's not known for nice year-round weather, so most of the time I'm inside watching movies or playing board games with friends. I've also led monthly Nextpoint game nights at the office for the past two years!"
