It was a long day but more than well worth it! First, we visited Forts Services to conduct an interview and shot a massive amount of B-roll of their incredible facility. Forts Services builds and deploys temporary facilities of almost every type you can imagine—housing, hospitals, offices, fire stations and more—for federal and state agencies. They are first responders when disaster strikes. They are a Core Logistics client, and we had the opportunity to conduct interviews and shoot B-roll at Core headquarters as well. It was a blast. Yesterday was a busy day, to say the least. It all started before dawn at Casa Cuba, where Miami’s Community Newspapers hosted their now-famous monthly Cafecito and Pastelitos networking breakfast. Alina Hudack, president and CEO if the World Cup committee, educated the crowd about the importance of Miami being a host city for the World Cup. Right after that, we braved Miami traffic and headed to Miami Dade College Kendall Campus, where we networked and saw firsthand the brand-new BIT (Business Innovation Technology) center. And, we wrapped up the evening with a fantastic Greater Kendall Business Association happiest hour hosted by The Contemporary. Thanks for being such generous hosts! Stay tuned for more fun days!
