This month's #InnovatorSpotlight shines on Dr. C. Walton Lillehei, known as the 'father of open heart surgery.' Dr. Lillehei not only pioneered open heart surgery but also advanced pacemaker and cardiac valve technology. He was a key member of the team that performed the first open heart surgery, and his legacy continues to save countless lives. His contributions to cardiology inspire us every day, which is why we proudly named our conference room #103 in his honor.

This month, our team at NPX Medical presented at our first Taco Tech Talk in 2025 and gave a crash course on #Nitinol, Laser Cutting and finished up by presenting their move-in plan to our new Maple Grove building.
