Don't make this #GivingTuesday subject line mistake ??♀???
“Today is Giving Tuesday” Year after year this is the most common subject line I receive on Giving Tuesday. I never thought this was a good subject line, and now I have the stats to prove it thanks to Neon One. According to their Nonprofit Email Report, emails with “Giving Tuesday” in the subject line have a lower open rate. That’s not all. The click rate and total amount raised were lower, too. Instead of “Giving Tuesday” subject lines, I recommend using ones that create a sense of urgency or curiosity. Also, quotes make for open-worthy emails. I reviewed over 700+ Giving Tuesday emails and put together some suggestions to improve email performance.
